Man oh man oh man!!!! What a trip. Did you eat the goat Mr Wright?

Magnificent story. I've always enjoyed your energetic straightforward writing style Mr Wright, very refreshing.

Well... About the cell phones, in many instances, they're more convenient than landline phones (i.e., installation, etc...) As a result, they're commonly used worldwide. It's not much of a surprise that you would see a cell phone being used in a place, I guess, you'd least expect.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Now this blog takes us to Timbuktu! Where will go next? But more about Timbuktu please. Strange thing is it never occurred to me that Timbuktu actually exists. No I'm not poorly educated, quite the contrary. That is hysterical about the cell phone. I have seen nomadic tribes driving pick up trucks with camels in the back. :-D

I adore this blog and look forward to every new post. This post just blew me away. I got goosebumps as soon as I saw the title and who had written it. I get to travel all over the world on this blog and I trust everyone who writes on it. I learn something from practically every post.

The photos are magnificent. The breathtaking beauty of the touareg people has been written about so much and in very poetic terms. As I read your post Mr Wright I was reminded of the devastating drought in Niger and suffering it has brought on the noble people.

I look forward to more.
